Privacy Policy for Planet Terraformer Mini

This Privacy Policy explains how Planet Terraformer Mini (the “App”, Android package com.planet.terraformer.app) handles information when you play its local game or use online content. In this policy, “we” refers to the publisher of Planet Terraformer Mini.

1. Local gameplay and information stored on your device

The local planet-building game does not require an account. Mission progress, scores, stars, unlocks, achievements and preferences are saved in the App’s storage on your device. The configuration request described below does not transmit your game progress or scores.

Android backup is enabled for the App. Depending on your device and backup settings, eligible app data may be backed up or restored by your operating system or backup provider. You can manage those backups in your device’s backup settings.

2. Device time zone and online-content configuration

At startup, and when you check online-content availability, the App contacts a configuration service over HTTPS. The request contains the application package name, your device’s IANA time zone (for example, Asia/Yangon), a timestamp, a random request value and authentication information. These values are used to select published content and authenticate the request. The request does not contain your advertising ID, precise GPS location, contacts, photos or local game progress.

Your device time zone is a device setting, not a measurement of your physical location. The service and its hosting/network providers also receive the network IP address and ordinary connection information needed to deliver the request. Access records may be processed for service operation, security and troubleshooting.

Online-content availability can vary by device time zone and change when published configurations change. If a valid online configuration is returned, the App automatically opens the configured website inside its embedded browser. If the configuration requests local mode, fails or is invalid, the local game remains available. You can return from the online website using the Local game button. Returning to the game does not undo data already transmitted to the website.

3. Websites displayed inside the App

When an online website loads, its operator and providers serving its resources receive your IP address, browser/device information, requested pages and any information you submit to that website. The configured URL is loaded with its query parameters intact, including any referral or affiliate code supplied in that URL. The receiving website may use those parameters for attribution under its own privacy practices.

The embedded browser supports JavaScript, first-party cookies and local web storage. These may retain website preferences or sessions. Third-party cookies are disabled, but this does not prevent all third-party network requests or other forms of data processing by a website. The App does not inject language preferences or account information into website cookies or local storage.

Website operators determine the information they request and how they process it. Please review the privacy information provided by the website before entering personal information. A website’s account and stored records are separate from the local game’s progress. This policy describes the App’s integration; website-specific processing must also be disclosed by the relevant operator.

4. Permissions and service providers

The App uses internet access for configuration requests and online websites, and vibration for optional haptic feedback. The current native App does not request camera, microphone, contacts or precise-location permissions. It does not integrate advertising or analytics SDKs. Website scripts and services have their own data practices as described above.

Information sent over the network is received by the configuration service, hosting/network providers involved in delivering that service, and the operators and providers of websites you access. Depending on where these services operate, information may be processed outside your country.

5. Retention, deletion and your choices

Local game data remains in the App’s storage until it is reset, cleared or removed. Reset best score clears the best score only. Reset all progress resets the game’s progression; it does not clear website cookies or remote records.

To remove the App’s local game data and embedded-browser data, clear the App’s storage in Android Settings. Uninstalling removes its private local data, but operating-system backups may remain or restore eligible data later. Manage those backups separately in your device’s settings.

Server-side information is subject to the configuration service’s retention and deletion practices. Website cookies, sessions, accounts and remote records are subject to the relevant website’s practices. Clearing local storage does not delete server logs or website accounts. You may contact us to ask about App-related information, retention, access, correction or deletion. For accounts or information submitted directly to a website, use that website’s privacy contact or account-deletion process as well.

6. Security

Configuration requests and configured website connections use HTTPS. The App rejects invalid website certificates instead of bypassing certificate checks. No transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Children and personal information

The local game does not ask players to provide personal information or register an account. Online websites may have separate age restrictions and data practices. Parents and guardians who believe a child has submitted personal information through the App can contact us and, where relevant, the website operator to request assistance.

8. Changes to this policy

Updates to this policy will be published on the App’s privacy-policy page with a revised update date. This policy should be read together with the privacy information for any website used inside the App.
